A beautiful Black Forest picture frame. A superb, lavishly carved criss cross picture frame! Frame very detailed carved to look like bark with carved screws. Top and sides adorned with a cluster of oak leaves and acorns on entwined branches.Beautiful lighter finish to the wood! Dates to 1890 / 1900. Measures 18 by 16 ½ inches. Inner dimensions: 13 by 11 inches. In my other auctions and in my store you can find some more frames and Black Forest carving!
