I did not remove the back. It has several nicks and dings. There is gesso breakage in several areas, some quite large. Pictures should give good idea of overall condition. It weighs 4 lbs, 10 oz. Often, you only see the first one selected and depending on where you live, it may not be the cheapest one. Please look at costs for both of them (I hear this can sometimes be hard to find).
