24 X 39 LOUIS XIV Style PICTURE FRAME ANTIQUED GOLD LEAF ORNATELY CARVED 5 WIDE

French, Louis XIV style, picture frame in a 23 3/4 X 39 1/2 size. The moulding has a generous 5 1/4" Wide profile and is 2 1/2" Deep at the corners. The finish is Antiqued Gold Leaf over Ornately Carved wood, and includes a linen liner with a gold liner/lip, We date it to the latter half of the 20th C.

It is in Very Good Vintage condition with only minor losses of gold (mostly retouched) and a nick or two. The frame opening measures 23 3/4 X 39 1/2. Outside measure of the frame is 33 1/4 X 49 1/4.
